    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

    1What kind of products and industries can you work with?
    Pretty much any. Courses and info products are a speciality, but as long as you have a good product that solves clear problems, we'll be good to go.

    Not every product, offer, list etc. is a good fit, so get in touch now and we'll get the ball rolling with an alignment call via Zoom. If I don't think it'll work out great for both of us, I'll be entirely honest about that.
    2What is a REAP Agreement?
    REAP stands for Remuneration Endowed After Performance. Rather than paying larger fees up front, you instead pay a share of revenue generated by any given promotion.
    3How come you offer campaigns on a performance basis? That's pretty unusual, no?
    In the copywriting and marketing world, yeah it's kind of unusual. See, most consultants or agencies will stick you with a huge invoice up front, promise the Earth, and then leave you holding the bag when things don't work out. I've been there. I've seen clients suffer through it, too, and it sucks more than that giant portal at the end of Evil Dead 2.

    Copywriting is often described as "salesmanship in print," so why make it any different to other, commission-driven sales forces?

    With skin in the game across the board, you can be confident your offer is in good hands and we both stand to win without any risk or wasted capital.

    If you would rather pay a single fee for a "one and done" service, such as building an automated sequence you can use forever, that's not a problem at all.
    4Can you guarantee you'll make me [insert X million] dollars?
    I'd love to... but alas, I cannot. I can guarantee you'll make money, but I can't guarantee how much. And anyone who does is only setting you (and themselves) up for disappointment. Results vary, which is why I work hard to match YOUR audience/list and find you a winner.
    5Do I have to give you a slice of revenue every time we run the campaigns you create?
    Nope. Some could (and do) say I do myself a disservice by not demanding this, but that feels too much like a trap for comfort.

    If you opt to work together on a performance basis, a revenue share will be expected each time as we work through iterations - but once a campaign is locked in and you're happy you can run it again, whether that's monthly, quarterly, yearly or whatever, it's 100% yours to continue profiting from.
    6How do you manage the email sending, revenue tracking etc?
    I'll need access to your CRM/email platform to create and schedule the emails. However you would normally do it.

    For revenue, I'll need access to your checkout/payment processing system (SamCart, ThriveCart, etc.). If you would rather not do that, I totally understand but will need post-campaign reports from you to verify revenue generated.

    If you would rather I stay completely hands off and simply deliver the campaign copy, that's also absolutely fine.
    7Are we talking gross or net revenue with your slice of the pie?
    Keeping it simple, we're talking gross, before refunds. Since email revenue can have a tail due to stragglers/late openers, we'll gather final figures approximately one week after the final email is sent.
    8Are there any costs at all to get started?
    I charge a token setup fee of $500 to mark your commitment and establish our contract. That's it. This fee is automatically discounted from the final revenue share, and in the event your campaign makes less than that (which has never happened), I'll refund every penny.

    This arrangement differs for retainer or bespoke contract work, as you would expect.
    9Do you use AI or copy-paste templates to write your material?
    AI? Absolutely not. You've probably seen AI copy everywhere by now, and it all sounds the same. "UNLEASH Your [INSERT MARKET] POTENTIAL," is a particular favorite.

    As more and more people lean into laziness with AI writing, they're all going to end up sounding like one big blob of identical nonsense with zero personality. That's great news for you, because you'll stand out even easier by talking to your prospects like an actual living human.

    As for templates, the answer is more fluid. I actually sell my own templates and training, so it would only make sense that I practice what I preach. That said, when used correctly templates are more like "frameworks." You still need the knowledge to use them well, and you can rest assured you'll never get identikit copy-pasted material.
    10Can I hire you on retainer for ongoing emails, like newsletters or less intensive, regular offers?
    In some cases, yes. Since retainer work is a service commitment that locks down time that would otherwise be available, it does come at a premium - beginning at $2,500USD/£2,000GBP per month.

    Depending on the list and offers, this may also include a small email revenue share of no more than 5%.

    Just let me know what you're thinking, and we'll go from there.
    11Can I hire you on a contract basis for web and funnel copy, onboarding sequences, automated ascension offers etc?
    In some cases, yes. This is completely bespoke work that doesn't come cheap. Let me know what you need and we can break it down, get you a one-time quote, and get it done.
    12Can I hire you as a consultant or copy chief to help guide my team?
    Yes, you can! Let me know what's on your mind and we can work out a consultation agreement.

    14Everything sounds great, but how do I know I can trust you with my brand?
    Talk to me and find out. Your reputation is of highest priority, and with personal brands nobody needs to know that anything from you is actually ghostwritten. Having ghostwritten thousands of emails and multiple books, I'm well versed in secrecy.

    You'll have full power of approval over any campaigns before they go live - but you will have to place some professional trust in me when it comes to copy.

    Remember: it's for the audience, not necessarily you as an individual.
